My name is Cheri Osler, and I am passionate about nursing and healthcare. I am the associate dean of nursing at Spokane Community College and a licensed mental health counselor.
Besides serving on the IENA board, I serve on several other boards, including the MultiCare Human Subjects Institutional Review Board, Accreditation Commission of Education in Nursing Board of Commissioners, Greater Inland Northwest American Red Cross Board of Directors, and as a certified Disaster Mental Health Counselor and youth disaster preparedness educator for the American Red Cross.

Mikey Anne O’Sullivan
MSN, RN
She joined Inland Empire Nurses Association (IENA) Board of Directors in October 2017, representing community and public health, served as the IENA Board Secretary 2019-2020. She has represented WSNA as a voting representative at the 20222 and 2023 American Nurses Association General Assembly.
She is the Nursing Lab and Simulation Director and Faculty at Spokane Community College in Spokane, Washington. Mikey is passionate about ensuring the underserved population receives health services, promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in nursing, and promoting leadership in nursing.

Graduated in 2008 from Seattle University with BSN, have worked in pediatrics and neurology for 14 years. Returned to Spokane where I was born and raised for the last 5 years, worked in community health and currently working at Spokane Community College and working towards MSN in education.

Started off in the Healthcare field at the age of 18 in 1994 in the United States Air Force as a Flight & Rescue medic/IDMT and along the way received my EMT/Paramedic and eventually to my RN/MSN and now teaching nursing school.
Currently working on my Doctorate of Nursing Practice. Have been to 82 countries on 5 continents and provided medical and humanitarian care in many different settings. Married to a great RN and three kids in college, graduated college, and off on their own adventures. Currently working on DNP with estimated completion in 2024

Sarai has served as a Director At-Large with IENA since 2018. She has worked locally as an inpatient pediatric nurse for most of her career, and teaches in Gonzaga University’s nursing program as well.
She enjoys promoting continuing education and furthering of education of nurses and nursing students, as well as promoting the well-being and safety of the nurses in our community.
